RMG – Salesian Missionary Volunteering: “Hope for the World”

(ANS – Rome) – As part of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the Salesian missions, today, February 25, 2025, on the feast day of the Salesian martyr missionaries Saint Luigi Versiglia and Saint Callisto Caravario, a brochure has been published with information about the Salesian Missionary Volunteering (SMV) organizations within the Salesian Provinces.

The work, coordinated by the SMV Advisory Team, aims to pay tribute to this precious fruit of the Salesian missions, which is increasingly fruitful and responsive to today's needs. Thus continues the congregational journey of enhancing the SMV and strengthening networking.

In this regard, the website www.salesianvol.org is active to facilitate the knowledge and dissemination of SMV throughout the world. The SMVAdvisory Team will have the opportunity to meet from 31 May to 8 June to plan the strategic plan for the coming years.
