The seminar began on Sunday, 3 November, with registration and an opening ceremony led by Aryan Gohel of SYM. Fr Ashwin Macwan, Director of AMRUTDHARA, warmly welcomed attendees and set the tone with an opening address focused on finding holiness in daily life.
The first session, “Understanding Holiness in Everyday Life,” by Francis Dyrasa, provided practical insights on integrating faith into daily actions. In the afternoon, Rajesh Christian led “Handling Peer Pressure with Faith,” addressing common challenges and reinforcing the importance of staying true to one’s beliefs. The day concluded with a Eucharistic celebration led by Fr Ashwin and a lively Bhajan Mandli led by local youth, blending prayer and culture.
On 4 November participants began with meditation led by Fr Ashwin, followed by “The Role of Catholic Faith in Holiness,” presented by Prakash Macwan. Michael Paul’s session, “Serving Others as a Path to Holiness,” highlighted the value of service. The Eucharist, celebrated by Fr Isaac, SDB, and focused on “Overcoming Temptations,” resonated deeply with attendees.
Afternoon activities included “Building Holy Relationships” by Shailesh Christi, promoting respect and compassion in interactions, and Adoration and Confession facilitated by Prakash and Vandna Macwan, offering a space for personal renewal. The day concluded with a joyful Musical Night, emphasizing the link between faith, joy, and community.
The final day, 5 November, began with meditation and continued with “Living Your Faith in School, College, and Work,” led by Shailesh and Priti, offering practical ways to carry faith into daily life. Fr Ashwin and Shailesh Christi’s session on “Way Forward of the Seminar” equipped participants with tools to sustain their spiritual journey.
The closing Eucharist, celebrated by Bishop Ratnaswamy, centered on “Building a Supportive Community,” inspiring youth to foster kindness and unity. The event ended with a short film presentation, felicitation, and a valedictory session, leaving participants motivated and spiritually renewed.
This seminar, led by Fr Ashwin Macwan and supported by dedicated volunteers, was a testament to the Salesian mission of nurturing holistic youth development, sowing seeds of holiness and commitment that will impact communities long after the event.
