The meeting began with a fraternalconversation during which Fr Martoglio shared updates on Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime and on the journey that the Congregation is making towards the upcoming 29th General Chapter. Mass was then celebrated and, finally, lunch was shared with the Salesian Youth Centre community in Coacalco and members of the Salesian parishes in the State.
Fr Stefano Martoglio is visiting Mexico from 11 to 18 September. As Vicar of the Rector Major, he is currently in charge of the Congregation until the election of the new Rector Major at GC29. His visit to the Salesian Our Lady of Guadalupe Province aims to encourage and support the Salesians and the members of the Salesian Family in Mexico.
