The boys and girls involved in the local leadership events will be able to take care of their formation and spirituality through theoretical lessons, workshops and moments of prayer, in the usual "Leaders on the Road" Camps: the first, dedicated to two-year high school leaders, will be held from 28 to 31 July and the second, for the three-year leaders, from 31 July to 4 August in Santeramo in Colle (Ba). It will be a valuable opportunity for personal growth and for discussion and exchange among the different Salesian places in Southern Italy.
In the field of Sport, the 1st and 2nd level All-Educators Camp, organised in collaboration with the PGS and Salesians for Social APS from 21 to 25 August in Santeramo in Colle (Ba), will allow sports managers and collaborators in Salesian settings to be in contact with qualified people, to enrich them with useful methodologies and tools to increasingly put competitive activity at the service of education from a Salesian perspective.
The "I would give my life..." Camp will be dedicated to young adults between 18 and 30 years of age who have the desire to carve out time to question the direction to be given to their lives and who have participated in the vocational paths started during the pastoral year (GxG, GR Scelta, Rise Up weekend) : an experience of search and self-discovery through listening and meditation on the Word of God, which girls will experience in Scandale (province of Crotone) from 22 to 25 August, and boys from 4 to 8 September in Turin, in the oratory at Valdocco.
For those who work in the marginalisation and hardship sector and are committed to Salesian activites in the South (family homes, day centres, associations, etc.), this year, in collaboration with Salesians for social APS, there will be a Charity Workers stage entitled "Following the steps of Don Bosco - Father of those who have no father", which will be held from 9 to 12 September in the places of Don Bosco in Turin and in contact with expert educators to discuss the crucial issues of the education of the most disadvantaged young people.
The Mission Animation sector, on the other hand, is ready to leave for the experiences of Spiritual Exercises in poor contexts with young people who are following the "Raise Up" weekend path, undertaken this year,- They have expressed the desire to place themselves at the service of the most needy situations in order to experience an in-depth relationship with God. A first group left for Cairo Zeitun (in Egypt) on the 2nd and will stay there until 22 July, while another will leave for Shkodra (in Albania) from 23 July to 4 August. Others will have their missionary service in Campania, in the FMA Oratory in Torre Annunziata (from 22 July to 3 August) and in the Penal Institute for Minors in Nisida (from 16 to 29 August).
