The course has several objectives: to learn from others; to recharge oneself with motivation and energy at the beginning of the pastoral year; to develop the skills of the participants; and, finally, to realise that everyone can be and do more and better in the transmission of the faith.
The formation program proposed by the Salesians, now in its 13th edition, is distinguished by the fact that the participants themselves can design their own formation curriculum. In fact, with an offer of about 20-30 different workshops, each participant can attend up to five, depending on their preferences and needs. Each workshop lasts 75 minutes and all together they cover different areas: from Psychology to Music, from Liturgy to Plastic Arts, from the Bible to Games and Dynamics, from First Aid in Catechesis to Rice Therapy, from non-violent Communication to Prayer with parents, up to Conflict Management and Pastoral Care after WYD, and many others...
The motto of this year's edition is "A força da Palavra" (The power of the Word), which also represents the new brand of the Salesian publishing house, which has made the formation of catechists a priority since its foundation.
In 2023, E-vangelizar will have two editions: Thursday 5 October in Porto and Saturday 14 October in Estoril, on both occasions at the local Salesian houses.

In 2022, E-vangelizar was held only in Porto and on that single occasion it mobilised more than 700 pastoral agents from all over the country.
