The objectives of the Forum are, among other things, the Salesian formation of the participants, the promotion of dialogue and cooperation between the people in Europe who seek to reflect Salesian education, and also to contribute to a consistent updating of our Salesian pastoral method and pedagogy, and to cooperate for the success of Project Europe.
The 35 participants (SDB, FMA, laymen and women) represent study centres and educational centres and social work among young people from 13 countries of Europe. They are reflecting especially on the religious dimension of education in today's multicultural situation characterized by immigration and secularism, with special attention to those who come from other religions (Muslims) or are devoid of any religious affiliation.
