The focus of the episode will be on Valdocco, the cradle of the Salesian charism, and on the 152nd Salesian Missionary Expedition, sent on 21 November last. But the focus on the subject will be extremely broad, and in the episode’s 45 minutes many aspects will be touched on.
Fr Bruno Ferrero, Director of the Salesian Bulletin and well-known author of books and short stories, will present Saint Francis de Sales in view of the 400th anniversary of the saint's death (1622-2022), and also focus on the missionary activity that sprang from Valdocco.
Fr Daniel Antúnez, President of "Missioni Don Bosco" of Turin, will speak of Patagonia, his homeland, the destination of the first missionaries, with mention of the Argentine saints and blessed.
Elisabetta Gatto, curator of the "Missioni Don Bosco" Ethnographic Museum, will present the Salesian epic at "land’s end" with reference to Fr Alberto De Agostini, Salesian and explorer of Tierra del Fuego.
Some missionaries who left this year, and the young Marco Fulgaro, a member of the Missions Sector of the Salesian Congregation, shall discuss current mission-related themes in today’s world.
In conclusion, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major of the Salesians, will also speak, offering his vision on the meaning of the missionary vocation.

"I viaggi del cuore" is a cultural and religious study program conducted by Fr Davide Banzato, of the "Nuovi Orizzonti" community. The program is broadcast on Sunday morning on Rete 4. It was established in 2016, during the Jubilee Year, with the official logo of the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy granted by the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization of which it still has the patronage today. "Missioni Don Bosco" has been collaborating with the program since last year.
