During the sessions both the Provincial of ANT, Fr José Pastor Ramírez, and the General Councillor for Social Communication, Fr Gildasio Mendes, presented their messages, rich in ideas, to the participants. Moreover, on the last day of the congress, some Salesians and some Salesian works received recognition for their evangelizing witness in living the Salesian sacrament of presence in the "new courtyards".
The congress began on Friday, October 22 with a session on the theme: "Evangelizing through networks" by Jay Vanessa Genco, the Coordinator of Digital Pastoral Care of the National Commission for the Pastoral Care of Communication of the Dominican Episcopal Conference, as well as Director of the "@CatolicoDigital" initiative.
On Saturday, October 23, Zaida Navarrete, Delegate for Social Communication of the Province of Central America, spoke of "How to enter the new courtyards"; while Madelin Arnaud, Director of the radio station "Exa FM 96.9" spoke about"Personal Branding" (how to develop a "brand" of oneself).
The workshop activities that accompanied the sessions were conducted by personal image specialist Katherine Mercedes, regarding "How to create a network plan"; and by the head of digital communities and content publisher Danielis Fermín, about "Tools and applications to manage social networks".
