From the chapel of San Francesco de Sales, in the heart of Valdocco, where Don Bosco prayed with his first group of boys, the Rector Major, surrounded by young Salesians in formation from all over the world, speaks of the "great gift, but also of the great challenge" that is Salesian formation.
"Formation is first of all a long process, which lasts a lifetime ..." in which "the true protagonist is the Holy Spirit" and which develops through "a process of great personalization", "truly an artisan work". These are some of the ideas offered by the Rector Major in the video, together with some emphasis on the characteristics of the Congregation today: a young congregation, where one out of four Salesians is in the initial stages of formation, and more and more global, with ever more international communities.
The video is available in Italian and Spanish and subtitled in English, French and Portuguese, in the respective language channels of ANSChannel.
