For the professor, networks can promote inclusive and participatory citizenship of immigrants. “We want to create a plural and democratic environment through which we will act collectively in the cultural, social and regional political sphere. This will come from the communicative action of the subjects involved, who will present themselves to the community through the Platform.”
The Platform was born within a Technological Innovation Program promoted by the Salesian University Center (UniSales) and funded by the Foundation for Support for Research and Innovation of the Brazilian State of Espírito Santo (FAPES). Through digital tools, the Platform aims to be a means to systematize the data that will contribute to the creation and implementation of public policies and the protection of human rights - and to this end, the Platform has the prospect of establishing partnerships and agreements with public bodies.
Also, it will offer complete and free legal assistance to immigrants, refugees and stateless persons living in the State via the Center for Judicial Practices of the Salesian University Center, which can help, for example, to carry out practices such as the regularization of migration, residence permits, naturalization, obtaining social benefits, assistance in legal trials, guidance in the field of labor law ...
With its presence on the web, the project also aims to combat false news, radicalization and extremism, aiming to be, on the contrary, a space for the sharing and publication of secure and reliable information. Furthermore, a reserved space is foreseen as a forum for communication between members, so that everyone can get to know each other and exchange experiences.
The Lince Platform team invites all immigrants, refugees and stateless persons to get to know the space and interact with each other at www.plataformalince.org
The initial assistance process, in this pandemic period, takes place exclusively in virtual mode. But those interested in legal assistance can register using the form available online and they will be subsequently contacted individually.
