Venzuela - About 600 people benefit from Health Day
Duaca, Venezuela - March 2020 - On 7 March, a Health Day for all vulnerable people was organized at the "Domenico Savio" youth center in Duaca, in the state of Lara, with 12 doctors of different specialties visiting about 600 people, doing check-ups, analysis and diagnosis. The Salesianos Portugal Foundation sent a donation of medicines to assist a specific group of people in one of the activities carried out. Thanks to this contribution, together with the evaluations and diagnoses, many patients received drugs for their pathologies. However, much remains to be done in assisting patients with chronic diseases. The Salesians in the Province of Venezuela (VEN) are ready to help the most needy and continue to do good and offer help in the most critical moments. In thanking all those who collaborated, the Salesians of Venezuela hope that with the support of many others, they can continue to show solidarity to all the needy in the country.
