Japan - "Don Bosco Festival"
Yokohama, Japan - January 2020 - On January 31, the traditional "Don Bosco Festival" was held at the Salesian High School of Yokohama, the "Salesio Gakuin", which saw the participation of over 1,100 students. The event began with an in-depth analysis of Don Bosco's life and mission, and continued with the testimony of a nun who works in South Sudan and the report on fundraising for local young people. The Eucharist was then celebrated, presided over by the Bishop of Yokohama, Msgr. Rafael Umemura Masahiro, with the musical animation of the students.
