Mongolia - New group of youngsters from Salesian community of Darkhan
Darkhan, Mongolia - January 2020 - Since the beginning of the Advent period 2019, a new group of young people has been established in the Salesian community of Darkhan who are gradually accompanied to becoming animators of the Youth Ministry. The group is made up of young people under 20, led by Salesians and lay collaborators of the mission of the "Don Bosco Center". After several meetings, a formative-spiritual program was developed for the group, which includes Sunday mass, catechism, human development, Salesianity lessons and formation on the lives of the saints. In addition, young people carry out multiple activities inside and outside the "Mary Help of Christians" parish, and will gradually be entrusted with the responsibility for the animation of the Catholic community and the Don Bosco oratory. On January 22, Fr Paul Leung, Delegate for Mongolia, met the young people, to whom he spoke about Don Bosco.
