Sodražica, Slovenia - October 2019 - During the celebration of the Municipality of Sodražica, a city to the south-east of Ljubljana, celebrated on 25 October, the Salesian Cooperator, Mrs Andreja Košmrlj, was among those awarded by the Municipality. The motivation reads, among other things: “Andreja Košmrlj is not only an attentive wife, mother and grandmother, but also a Salesian Cooperator, active for years in the parish Caritas, a faithful reader of the Word of God, a woman with open eyes and ears towards the other. This year was the 22nd time that she participated in the summer oratory. Before retiring, for the week of the summer oratory she took leave to help young people and children in the Oratory programs." The award was presented by the Mayor of Sodražica Mr. Blaž Milavec. Mrs Košmrlj is part of the group of Salesian Cooperators of the diocesan parish of Sodražica, which with its active presence animates a large part of the parish life and promotes the Salesian spirit.
