Italy - Salesian missionaries visit Genoa
Genoa, Italy - 16 September 2019 - These days, the Salesians who will be part of the 150th Missionary Expedition are visiting Genoa to commemorate the first expedition. In Sampierdarena they visited the Salesian house, the oratory, the school, the vocational training center, the Italo-Latin American parish, the Don Bosco house for unaccompanied foreign minors, the day center for autistic children, the Latin American school. They will also visit the bell tower of the church, the only part built by Don Bosco, predominant compared to all the others in the city. The missionaries also met with Msgr. Nicolò Anselmi, auxiliary bishop of Genoa, who presided over Vespers, and the Mayor of the city, Marco Bucci.
