USA - Perpetual professions of four Salesians
Haverstraw - August 17, 2019 - Last Saturday, at the Marian Shrine of Haverstraw, Leonard Carlino, Sasika Lokutettige, Ky Nguyen and Craig Spence, four young Salesians, made their perpetual professions. Fr Timothy Zak, Provincial of the United States West (SUO), presided over the Mass, attended by about 60 Salesians, family members, members of the Salesian Family, past pupils and some friends of the professed. The four, aged between 28 and 42, are from the state of New York, Alabama, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. All four are preparing for possible priestly ordination and aspire to serve God in service to young people, in whatever way the Congregation may ask them.
