Santiago, Chile – July– On 25-26 July, about 20 Salesians took part in the Day of Directors of Salesian centers. Led by the Provincial, Fr Carlo Lira, the meeting allowed participants to reflect together on the challenges of animation in the various Salesian works. Fr Lira shared with his Salesian confreres the letter drawn up at the end of the Extraordinary Visit in 2018 by Fr Guillermo Basañes, General Councillor for Missions: a document of the Rector Major indicating various ways to deepen the Province. Also among the themes developed during the morning: evangelical rootedness, co-responsibility and collaboration with the laity, joint formation, Youth ministry as a Salesian mission of evangelization and vocations, and the provincial redesign.
