India - Saying "No" to drugs
Tiruchy, India - 6 July 2019 - On the occasion of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the Dependency Department of the Tiruchy Province (INT) organized a cultural meeting for students. The event was held at the “Don Bosco Mat. Hr. Sec” of Thanjavur and saw the participation of 179 students from 14 different schools. The young participants were involved in painting, acting, singing and drawing competitions on the theme: "Saying No to Drugs". As part of this important event, Dr. Sahayaraj, of the National Institute for Mental Health and Neurosciences, explained to the children the dangers deriving from the use of drugs and how they too can fight against this serious threat.
