Brazil - "Mobile library" for children with brain damage
Porto Alegre, Brazil - June 2019 - The students of the "Dom Bosco" college in Porto Alegre, creators of the "Book Club", have created a solidarity initiative in favor of the Porto Alegre Rehabilitation Center (Cerepal), an association that assists children and young people with brain damage. To facilitate access to book reading for the center's children, many of them with mobility issues, the students created a "mobile library", with books donated by the students of the entire college. On June 28, at the headquarters of Cerepal, amid songs and music, the books were consigned with the participation of members of the SYM and the Scholastic Pastoral Team of the "Dom Bosco" College, in what was a powerfully emotional moment for all participants.
