Santiago del Estero, Argentina - June 2019 - On 30 June the Salesian Oratory "Don Bosco" in Santiago del Estero celebrated its 30th anniversary of educational work among young people. Currently the oratory assists over 350 young people through the "Jóvenes Campesinos" and "Tejiendo lazos" programs, which respond to the projects promoted by the Planning and Development Office of the Province of North Argentina (ARN). The first program is a residence for poor young people and the second is a program for preventing addiction through socio-educational workshops. A Basic Adult Education Center is also in operation and, over the weekend, the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) offers various activities.
