Przemyśl, Poland - June 2019 - On June 15, at the initiative of the parish priest of the Salesian parish of Przemyśl, Fr Bogdan Nowak, and Maciej Kamiński, Vice-president of the Municipal Council of Przemyśl, a family festival called "Augustiada 2019" took place. The patron saint of the event, whose motto was "Learn from the best", was the Salesian blessed Fr August Czartoryski. The program of the festival included: concerts, exhibitions, sports competitions, thematic presentations and culinary specialties. Furthermore, a fundraiser was made to provide a Salesian school in the Gambia where Fr Piotr Wojnarowski, SDB, works.
