Nairobi, Kenya - June 2019 - The Salesian Province of Africa East (AFE) celebrated its VIII Provincial Chapter from 2 to 7 June at the "Don Bosco Theological College Utume", in Nairobi. The 56 capitulars from the 27 communities and 3 presences of the AFE Province gathered to produce their contribution for the next GC28, which will take place in Turin in 2020 on the theme "What Salesians for today's young people?" The work was based on the three thematic nuclei: priority of the mission among the young, profile of the Salesian for today's youth and the mission shared between Salesians and lay people.
