Cameroon - Photovoltaic power plant for "Don Bosco Ebolowa" center
Yaoundé, Cameroon - May 2019 - On May 15, the Spanish foundation "Elecnor" donated a photovoltaic energy plant to the "Don Bosco Ebolowa" center, whose installation had begun last December. The handover ceremony took place in the presence of the Superior of the Vice Province "Equatorial Tropical Africa" (ATE), Fr Owoudou Alphonse, and of various political and religious authorities of Yaoundé. 174 solar panels, with a power of 350 watts each, supply 60 kW capable of supplying the entire Salesian center in Ebolowa. "Elecnor" is a multinational company operating in the solar energy sector; founded in 1958, it is present in 52 countries on 5 continents.
