Thailand - Over 500 young people in Salesian catechism camps
Phanom, Thailand - May 2019 - During the summer holidays, which in Thailand fall in the months of March and April, the churches entrusted to the Salesians - such as those in the three southern border provinces: "Mary Help of Christians", Phanom, Surat Thani ; “St. Joseph”, Banpong, Ratchaburi; "Lourdes", Hatyai, Songkhla and “St. Joseph”, Tham Singh, Chumphorn - organize catechism camps for children between 8 and 14 years old. The more than 500 participants, coming from the Salesian and public schools, received intense training to prepare for the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Reconciliation, Communion and Confirmation) and also participated in various group and sports activities.
