Italy - Solidarity Walk for Salesian mission of Iauaretê
Venice, Italy - April 2019 - On 7 April, the 41st edition of the Solidarity Walk called "Su e Zo per i Ponti, that is, Up and Down the Bridges" took place. Over 10,000 participants walked the Venetian streets and fields with a thought turned to the Salesian mission of Iauaretê, in the Amazon (Brazil), at the center of the solidarity project 2019 of "Su e Zo". The event, promoted by the Salesian Province of "San Marco", in North-East Italy, and organized by the TGS Eurogroup Salesian association, represents a great day of celebration and solidarity (INE), fully respecting its history and tradition as built over the years by its founder, Salesian Fr Dino Berti.
