Fiji Islands - Salesian community "Don Bosco House" assists a needy family
Suva, Fiji Islands - March 2019 - The Salesian community "Don Bosco House" of Suva visited a family, composed of a 76-year-old man and three of his grandchildren, who reside in a humble house near the parish of "St. John Bosco”, recently founded. The aim of the visit was to help the family make the environment in which they live safe, an area that required reclaiming. For the Salesian community "Don Bosco House", which currently consists of 10 Salesians in initial formation and four formators entrusted with the "St John Bosco" parish, it was a small gesture to reach people most in need. The Salesian communities of Suva (Fiji Islands), Auckland (New Zealand) and Alafua and Salelologa (Samoa) form the Pacific Delegation of the Province of Australia, with a total of 30 Salesians.
