Lubumbashi, D.R. Congo - February 2019 - On February 23, all the communities of the Salesian Province of Central Africa (AFC) celebrated Mass for the peace and rest of Salesian Fr Antonio César Fernandez's soul, barbarously killed on 15 February. The AFC Province acknowledges in Fr Antonio César a great missionary, who gave his life for the good of the young in the style of Don Bosco. The Salesians in formation of Kansebula also expressed their closeness to the family and to the Province of Francophone West Africa (AFO), with prayers and Mass presided over by Fr. Albert Kabuge, AFC Provincial.
