Mexico City, Mexico - January 2019 - On 20 January, at the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, Fr Timothy Ploch, Councilor for the Interamerica Region, presided, in the name of the Rector Major, the solemn Mass and the inauguration ceremony of the new Superior of the Salesian Province of Mexico City (MEM): Fr Ignacio Ocambo Uribe. Also present at the ceremony were: Fr Gabino Hernández Paleta, formerly MEM Provincial, who was thanked for his commendable service; Msgr. Héctor Guerrero Córdova, SDB, bishop emeritus of the Prelature of Mixes; Msgr. Luis Felipe Gallardo Martín del Campo, SDB, bishop emeritus of the diocese of Veracruz, and other religious figures.
