India – Nitika Don Bosco Seminar for Catholic doctors and nurses
Kolkata, India – January 2019 – In preparation for the 27th World Day of the Sick to be celebrated this coming 11 February, the “Nitika Don Bosco” Centre, Kolkata has organised a seminar involving 42 doctors and nurses from all over India. With this event, which took place from 8 to 11 January, the Salesian Centre has set in place a programme of pastoral formation for the sick and elderly has set in motion a programme of formation to ministry for the sick and elderly, focusing especially on aspects of catechesis, consultancy, care, comfort and communion. The “Nitika Don Bosco” Catechetical Centre, in collaboration with the Kolkata Archdiocese, has launched a number of programmes and catechetical tools to prepare the faithful for the World Day of the Sick.
