India - Seminar on children dependent on drugs and alcohol
Mumbai, India - October 2018 - On October 30, at the Mumbai Provincial House, a seminar was held on how to accompany children dependent on drugs and alcohol and on juvenile justice, organized by "Don Bosco Balprafulta". Fr Thomas Koshy, Executive Secretary of the Yar Forum (Young at Risk) presided over the seminar, moderated by Fr Gregory Almeida, Director of the center "Shelter Don Bosco". 65 professionals from 25 Child Care Institutions and NGOs participated to deepen the themes of addiction, its causes, the signs and symptoms, the diagnosis and treatment, the risks and the protective factors involved.
