Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic - October 2018 – Scheduled 15 - 20 October is the meeting of Delegates for Youth Ministry of 13 Provinces of the Interamerica Region, with the participation of Fr Daniel García, of the Youth Ministry Department. The meeting's aim is to continue strengthening the regional processes of Youth Ministry in the light of the Reference Framework for Salesian Youth Ministry and the Synod of Bishops under way in the Vatican. During the meeting, the participants also discuss the themes of the 2019 International Youth Ministry and Family Congress and the WYD and get an update on the progress of the proceedings of the animation processes that have already started. In a changing world, the Salesians of the Interamerica Region make every effort to keep up with the needs of the young and study ways of providing answers to new forms of poverty and marginalization.
