Thailand - Annual Meeting of Family Movement
Hua Hin, Thailand - September 16, 2018 - At the church of Santa Teresa in Hua Hin, the annual meeting of the "Family Movement" took place, presided over by Msgr. Joseph Prathan Sridarunsil, SDB, bishop of Surat Thani. The meeting, which lasted three days, was attended by 370 delegates, who shared the family apostolate that they carried out in 10 dioceses of the country. The "Family Movement" was born in the parish of St. Joseph in Banpong Ratburi, in 1981, by the Salesian Fr. John Ulliano who began a seminar with 7 couples. Today, the movement consists of 16,500 couples throughout Thailand.
