Brazil - Salesian Mission Day in São Paulo Province
São Paulo, Brazil - September 2018 - On September 15 and 16, the Salesian Province of São Paulo (BSP) organized the Salesian Mission Day, which was attended by 125 young people from the Missionary Action Group (GAM). During the two-day event, coordinated by Fr Tiago Eliomar, head of the Missionary Animation Service, the participants reflected on the missionary work carried out in the various cultures present in the country, and attended a training sessions on spiritual accompaniment. Also, the youths answered the questions proposed by the Salesian Congregation in view of the upcoming 28th General Chapter on the theme - "What Salesians for the Youth of Today?" - with reflections and proposals on the best way to continue to welcome, evangelize and educate today's young people according to the charism of Don Bosco.
