Mellieha, Malta - 15 August 2018 - On the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary, at the Shrine of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin in Mellieha, a Mass was celebrated during which Fr Paul Formosa was sworn in as the first Superior of the new Vice Province of Malta ( MLT), dedicated to "Mary Help of Christians". The ceremony was presided by the Councilor for Central and Northern Europe, Fr. Tadeusz Rozmus, who invited those present to "fix their gaze on the future, building a profound closeness to Christ and a strong spirit of community." Also present for the occasion were Fr Fabio Attard, General Councilor for Youth Ministry, Fr Richard Ebejer, on behalf of the Irish Provincial, Salesians and various members of the Salesian Family.
