Poland – Meeting of Missionaries 2018
Warsaw, Poland - July 2018 – On July 26-28, the missionaries of the Salesians and Daughters of Mary Help of Christians currently on holidays in Poland met at the Salesian Mission Office in Warsaw. Participants included: Sr. Ewa Potaczek and Sr. Beata Bienias (Argentina); Sister Brygida Żurawska (Ukraine); Sr. Małgorzata Pietruszczak (Georgia); Fr Krzysztof Jasiński (Ethiopia); Fr Ryszard Jóżwiak (Rwanda); Waldemar Jonatowski (South Sudan); Fr Wacław Nosal (Japan); Fr Kazimierz Socha (Kenya); Fr Stefan Górecki and Fr Ryszard Łach (Peru); Fr Artur Bartol (Central African Republic); Fr Paweł Kociołek (Bangladesh); Fr Krzysztof Gniazdowski (Mongolia); Fr Paweł Dziadkiewicz (USA) and Fr Klemens Deja (Brazil). The meeting was an opportunity to integrate, discuss and share missionary experiences. The activities of the Salesian Mission Office were presented and the issues of cooperation with the center were also discussed. In addition, the missionaries released several interviews, talking about the joys and difficulties of their work.
