UN - 2030 UN Objectives, VIS with governments and organizations from around the world
New York, UN - July 19, 2018 - Accelerating and fostering the good use of resources, the implementation of policies and programs to achieve the goals of the UN 2030 agenda. For this reason, government representatives, entrepreneurs and leaders of civil society and international organizations from more than 120 countries in the world met in New York from July 9 to 18 for the United Nation's High Level Political Forum (HLPF) on sustainable development. Also present was a VIS delegation, an NGO accredited to the UN Economic and Social Council with Special Advisory Status. For VIS, the event was also an opportunity for a meeting with the partners of the "Co-partners in Development" project, co-funded by the European Commission, which deals with the technical development of the Planning and Development Offices (PDO) Salesians in 36 countries.
