Zafferana Etnea, Italy - July 2018 - The penultimate weekend of July saw twenty-one families of the Salesians of Don Bosco of Sicily and Tunisia gathered together in Zafferana Etnea to live two days of fraternity and sharing. Organized by the parents of a Salesian trainee and by the director of the Theological Institute of St. Thomas of Messina, the meeting saw the participation of Sicily Provincial Fr Giuseppe Ruta who presented in a report the figure of Mamma Margherita and Papa Francesco Bosco, thus underlining the importance of the family in the vocational journey of the Salesian consecrated person.
