Nicaragua - WYD symbols arrive in Granada
Granada, Nicaragua - 27 June 2018 - The symbols of World Youth Day continue their pilgrimage among the dioceses of the world. In the last days of June, they arrived in the diocese of Granada, in the parish of "San Juan Bosco", from where a procession began through the streets of the city up to the cathedral. The young people of the Salesian Youth Movement groups actively participated carrying the Missionary Cross and the icon of the Virgin Mary through streets colored blue and white, the colors of the national flag, together with white and yellow, the colors of the church. The symbols of WYD remain for 6 days in the diocese of Granada, before leaving for Costa Rica.
