Myanmar - Course for local economers
Yangon, Myanmar - June 2018 – From June 18 to 22, the first course for the Economers of the 8 Salesian Centers of the Myanamar Vice Province, a course led by lay professionals in economics and administration, took place. During the course, various topics were discussed and studied in depth: the identity of the Economer General, starting from an intervention of the General Economer, Br Jean Paul Muller, SDB; guidelines for the administration of lay associations; administration of temporary assets of the Salesian Congregation; Salesian financial report of the Office of the Economer General; the administration serving the missions; and information regarding the basic accounting system of Salesian houses.
