Italy - St Domenico Savio and the gift of life
Turin, Italy - May 2018 – On 4 May, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the consecration of the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians in Turin-Valdocco, there was a meeting of assignment to St. Dominic Savio, whose remains are kept at the altar dedicated to him in the Basilica, for young couples wishing to open themselves to the gift of a new life. The tradition of the "little 'suit' of Saint Dominic Savio" has many mothers and families who, before or after the birth of a child, come to pray and invoke for the intercession of the young saint, and rely on him in the commitment, to help educate their child in a Christian way. The meeting was organized in collaboration with the ADMA Group and the Turin section of the "Movement for Life".
