Nicaragua - In the midst of violence and death, the Marian month for peace begins
Granada, Nicaragua - April 2018 - On 24 April, in the presence of Msgr. Bernardo Hombach, bishop emeritus of Granada, Fr David Panezo, Director, and the students of the Salesian Institute "San Juan Bosco" of the city, began the month leading up to the Feast of Mary Help of Christians with Mass. The faithful asked the Virgin to help them find peace in a country devastated by the violence and death of 63 people and the wounding of hundreds during recent protests.
