Italy - Rosario Maiorano, World Emeritus Coordinator, passed away
Rome, Italy - January 1, 2017 - On the afternoon of January 1, after having endured a terrible illness, the 62 year-old Rosario Maiorano, World Emeritus Coordinator of the Salesian Cooperators (FMA) from 2001 to 2012, passed away. He will be remembered for the priceless heritage of His love for the association, for Don Bosco and for the young. His discreet, humble but extremely brilliant service remains above all linked to the revision and updating of the Project of Apostolic Life (PVA) during the two World Congresses in 2006 and 2012, where he transmitted his passion for the charism with his great vision of the future in the full spirit of the Founder. Very active in the service of civil society, he participated in the Regional Congress of Cebu (2001) in the EAO region. Rosario Maiorano leaves his wife Laura and his children Gabriele and Maria Laura.
