Australia - Three young Salesians ordained deacons
Melbourne, Australia - 2 December 2017 - Three young Salesians, originally from East Timor (2) and from Thailand (1), were ordained deacons at the "St. John Baptist" Catholic church in Clifton Hill, Melbourne, last Saturday, during the Eucharist presided over by the Archbishop of Perth, Mgr. Timothy Costelloe, SDB. Also present: the Provincials of the Salesian circumscriptions involved: Fr Greg Chambers, for Australia-Pacific (AUL), Fr Apolinario Maria Neto, of Indonesia-East Timor (ITM), and Fr John Bosco Dhepharat Pitisan, of the Thai Province (THA).
