Hong Kong - Pastoral for South Asian Migrants
Hong Kong - September 2017 - On September 10, a group of 90 adult migrants gathered at the "St. Louis School "to celebrate Mary's feast and New Year's festivities with the grain blessing followed by the Eucharist and various cultural programs. Hong Kong has a multi-cultural and multi-religious society with a large presence of migrants from all over Asia, especially Indonesian and Filipino. The migrant pastoral was initiated by the Salesians of Hong Kong in 2013 with the help of two Indian Provinces, benefactors, members of the Salesian Cooperative Association and volunteers.
