South Sudan - 41 baptisms on Independence Day
Wau, South Sudan - July 2017 - On 9 July, on the occasion of South Sudan's Independence Day Celebrations, in the Wau South-Sudanese internally-displaced refugee camp, a Eucharist was celebrated during which 41 children born within the camp were baptized. The Salesians are active within the Wau camp, accompanying and supporting the refugees, and animating a parish with several chapels, a Vocational Training Center and a typography.
