Italy – ADMA Primaria Councils Gather in Avigliana for Spiritual Reflection
Avigliana, Italy – April 2025 – On April 5, the outgoing and incoming councils of ADMA Primaria met at the Salesian house of “Santuario dei Laghi” (Shrine of the Lakes) in Avigliana, near Turin, together with spiritual animator Fr. Gabriel Cruz, SDB, formation coordinator Fr. Roberto Carelli, and Sr. Lucrecia Uribe, FMA delegate.
The gathering focused on the current role of ADMA (Association of Mary Help of Christians). Participants emphasized the importance of staying rooted in Christ amid today’s fast-paced world, deepening their love for the Word, and living the Church’s liturgy and sacraments with fervor. They highlighted how Marian devotion is essential to Christian life, recognizing Mary’s vital and providential link to Jesus and her role as a guide to Him.
After a day of prayer and reflection, both councils expressed gratitude for the journey taken and readiness to embrace new challenges with Jesus and Mary. The new council will officially begin its term on May 24, the Solemnity of Mary Help of Christians.
