During the ceremony, Manabí representative Katiuska Miranda, who spearheaded the event, emphasized the impact of the Salesian work in Manta, which has been a fundamental pillar in the academic and spiritual formation of thousands of children and young people, keeping alive the legacy of St. John Bosco. The dedication and commitment of educators and collaborators who have strengthened this mission over the years were also recognized.
This recognition was part of a series of tributes to other religious institutions providing social services, as well as individuals who have significantly contributed to Manta’s development. "As a Salesian presence in Manta, this recognition fills us with joy and motivates us to continue working with the same enthusiasm and dedication that have characterized us for these 80 years. It also reaffirms our commitment to providing quality and compassionate education for the integral formation of new generations, with the hope of continuing to contribute to the development of Mantese and Ecuadorian society," stated the Salesians of Manta.
