Thailand - Salesian Family Spirituality Day 2025
Sam Phran, Thailand - January 2025 - On 25 January 2025, more than 200 members of the Salesian Family joined the Salesian Family Spirituality Day, hosted by the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians [FMA] this year at Baan Than Phraphon, Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom Province. The main activity was to listen to the Strenna 2025 of the Rector Major, “Anchored In Hope, Pilgrims With Young People,” with Father Banchong Santisukniran as the resource speaker. Afterward, everyone joined the thanksgiving service, presided over by Father Boonlert Paneetatthayasai, the Salesian Provincial, together with the Salesian priests. During the ceremony, three new Salesian Cooperators, namely Mr. Michael Supanimit Jonlamonton, Mr. Sebastian Pathomkal Charoenrup, and Ms. Veronica Wiyada Songwantang, pledged to be active members of the Association. All three were warmly welcomed into the Salesian Family of Don Bosco. The activities and atmosphere throughout the day were filled with joy. Currently, Father Suphot Riewngam is responsible for the Salesian Family in Thailand. The 10 groups are now ready to walk together according to the 2025 Strenna: “ Anchored In Hope, Pilgrims With Young People.”
