Tlazala, Mexico – January 2025 – Campo Bosco 2025 was held at the Salesian Casa del Hombre Nuevo Spirituality Centre in Tlazala on 11 and 12 January,  on the theme "In the SYM we live the joy of having Jesus as the centre of our life". The event was convened by Fr Juan Aarón Cerezo Huerta, Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry for the Salesian Province of Mexico , Mexico (MEM). He will become the Provincial from 28 January for the six-year period 2025-2031. The Campo Bosco 2025 was attended by 195 young people, aged 16 and over, who are part of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) in the MEM Province, and who are taking part in the third stage of Formation of Young Salesians promoted by the local Youth Ministry. The event was full of meaning because it focused on the theme of "Hope", a central element of the Jubilee Year proclaimed by Pope Francis. In addition, it was the last Campo Bosco presided over by Fr Ignacio Ocampo Uribe as MEM Provincial. The commitment and spirit of discipline and fellowship of the members of the SYM and the Salesian Leaders were made even more evident by the adverse climatic conditions, with an unusually rigid cold and considerable wind gusts, in addition to the fact that on 12 January an earthquake of magnitude 6.1 on the Richter scale occurred.
