India – Don Bosco Tech in Bangalore hosts the Skill Connect convention
Bangalore, India – January 2025 – The Don Bosco Tech in Bangalore hosted a two-day national convention entitled Skill Connect, which aimed to promote a solid network within the vast Salesian ecosystem. The event brought together the main stakeholders, including the heads of the technical commissions of the Salesian Provinces in India and members of the staff of the Don Bosco Tech Society, under the guidance of the Executive Director, Fr George Mathew. Fr Biju Michael, Regional Councillor for South Asia, also spoke during the event, who with an online message acknowledged the efforts of Don Bosco Tech and offered valuable ideas for future efforts. "Skill Connect" has therefore fostered meaningful dialogue, collaborative activities and a shared commitment to improve the quality and impact of vocational training programs within the Don Bosco Tech network. The convention highlighted the commitment to empowering young people and shaping a brighter future, through relevant and effective skills development initiatives.
